Year 5 have safely arrived in West Runton! They enjoyed their first day of activities, which included rock climbing and an obstacle course! The children are now spending the evening around the campfire. Beautiful weather and lots of smiling children!

Thursday 4/7 - AM

We are all having a super time. After a full cooked breakfast and cereal, we headed out on to the field for free time fun. Room inspections were successful and most of our rooms are tidy!
We are raring to go for our first activity. Sun cream on, long sleeve tops prepared for archery and bushcraft and happy smiles all round. When we return, we plan to celebrate Ella's birthday!

Thursday 4/7 - PM

We've been to the Kingswood shop! Children delighted in buying ice creams, sweets, cans of fizzy pop and more sweets- some souvenirs were also bought!
A very tasty lunch follwed: jacket potatoes with a choice of fillings, cheese pasty, soup, and pasta...the salad bar was also available. A very large game of rounders followed and now we are off to afternoon activities. The sun continues to shine and children continue to smile!

All activities for the afternoon finished....nearly all worn out...well all the adults are! Free time at mo playing football on the field and digging in the sand. Dinner in 30 mins. Very very happy children!

After dinner we celebrated Ella's birthday....We all ate cake! More sugar! Chicken for tea tonight.Yum!
We are now just doing the quiz and soon we'll be tumbling into bed absolutely exhausted.

Friday 5/7 - AM

Today it's Skye's birthday...more cake needed! We're sure the children won't complain. Well, a hearty breakfast has been eaten. Y5 are packed and have all cases safely stowed. There is a bag of lost property which will be available for collection as they get off the coach! Children will be abseiling and zip wiring this morning. The sun continues to shine and the staff have never seen so many happy children!
