At Knight’s Nursery relationships are at the heart of everything we do. Children are encouraged to develop positive relationships with adults and their peers.

A wide range of adult led activities and child led provision are planned for and delivered by skilled and caring teachers and support staff, providing rich, varied and imaginative experiences that enthuse, engage and motivate children to learn.

Every child is treated as an individual. We ensure that all our staff know the children very well and have a sound understanding of child development. This ensures that the adults are able to enhance and extend the learning for each unique child, building upon their interests and needs.

Each time an adult interacts with a child, they are observing, assessing, planning for, and responding to the individual child. We ensure that all our staff receive high quality training to enable them to spot ‘teachable moments’ when they will intervene in a child’s play in order to maximise learning potential.
